Kapil is an Electrical engineer, holding a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) and a Master's degree from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Benagluru. He completed an undergraduate program (also in Electrical Engineering) at Delhi Technological University, Delhi. He is specilialized in Power Electronics and Embedded Systems. He has more than 13 years of experience in hardware design and firmware development for power supplies and electric drives.
Kapil founded Direct Electric Private Limited in 2018 along with other researchers from IISc. He is a director in the company since 2020 and presently responsible for managing daily affairs of the organization.

Giridhar holds an Automobile engineering undergraduate degree from Anna University, Chennai. He is having more than 20 years of experience in automotive industry. He founded Aperion Mobility Private Limited in 2016, where he is developing electric mobility solutions. Prior to that, he had worked with Jaguar Landrover, Tata Elxsi and Force Motors.
He is one of the founding members of Direct Electric Private Limited, where he is a director since 2021. Giridhar is responsible for certifications and compliances in the organization, apart from being the head of the mechanical engineering team.
